You can request access, updates, or deletion of your data at any time. Some services may use AI technology to help us operate and improve, but people remain responsible for oversight.

Laurel Studio LLC (“Laurel,” “we,” “us”) provides consulting, digital products, and resources to support funders, entrepreneurs, and innovators. By using our website, tools, or services, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

How you may use our services

You may only use our services for lawful purposes. You may not disrupt, copy, reverse engineer, or misuse our systems. Any content you provide must be accurate and must not infringe on others’ rights.

Information we collect

We may collect information you provide such as your name, email, organization, and any content you share with us. We may also collect information about how you use our site or services, as well as technical details such as your device type, browser, and IP address.

How we use information

We apply the California Consumer Privacy Act, also known as CCPA or CPRA, standards to all users.

You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to limited exceptions such as legal obligations. You may opt out of the sale of personal information, although we do not sell data. You may not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

GDPR and international users

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may withdraw consent at any time. You may request data portability, meaning a copy of your information in a usable format. You may object to certain processing, including processing for marketing. You may file a complaint with your local data protection authority. 

If we transfer your information outside the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses.

Security and retention 

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. We keep it only as long as needed to provide services or meet legal obligations.

Intellectual property

All content, designs, and materials we create belong to Laurel unless otherwise noted. You may not copy, sell, or distribute them without permission.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Our services are provided “as is.” We do our best to make them reliable, but we cannot guarantee accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability. To the extent allowed by law, Laurel is not responsible for any damages that result from your use of our services.
